Tapping into the Canadian Underground Music Scene
The INDIE ENTERTAINMENT AGENCY is a National Booking and Artist Representation Group in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
We've changed our mission recently. We don't have the man power to tackle the Canadian Giant we call the Indie Music Scene without some help. This is a free agency. We're not opposed to commission, we just believe the network we're creating is payment enough for any serious indie band.
Our plan is to join together active bands of likeness that have played all the venues in their area, know the local promoters and bands, and are intending to tour. We are looking for one band in each city that wants to be represented in our areas and can help represent touring bands in their area!
Some cities need months to book shows and for little pay. Other cities are fine booking a show a week in advance with expenses paid, a packed room, and a guarantee.
The Indie Agency is becoming a professional street team of passionate music enthusiasts. It helps to have a guide/insider that can get you in new markets. We will supply venue/promoter contacts and pitch you to local friends and fans if you are interested in doing the same.
